Chapter 08 Chapter 08: Dancing with the Dragon

                  The next day after breakfast I joined Joslyn on her categorizing. Daemon had been slacking off on his duties so he’s been bogged. We teased him a little about that. So Joslyn had to work with creatures nearby. Yesterday she did a sketch of a couple of dryads and a hamadryad.

                “We’ll probably see the hamadryad on our way to the lake.”

You'd think by now I'd have taken a break. I've just got done with five performances this week. And it's only Wednesday! But here I am, dancing once again, I was out by a creek near my place. It's beautiful there's a woods on the other side of the creek and wild flowers decorated the tall grass. Best place for dancing if you ask me. Everyone thinks I'm over doing it. Too bad Joslyn's in Scotland, I could really use her support. She would wind up with the worst possible day to move. I'll give her hell after the week. A smile crossed my lips. I will give her the biggest guilt trip ever! I will not let

I was walking alone to the centaur village. Daemon dropped me off about a few miles away. Any closer and the humans and centaurs that lived there would freak out and he didn't need that. He asked if I wanted him to come with, but I thanked him and told him I needed alone time. He nodded and went back home to his brothers

Took me forever I swear to figure out what I wanted for her hairstyle. So I went with braids. ^^ This is the cheaters way of doing braids. Hee! I'm being slow on the other charries and I forgot to save the story to post so next time.

Edit: A bit of an improvement. The shading is sharper and the highlights are lighter so she doesn't look shiny.

Edit 2: This one the shading is better and there are no highlights other than in the hair and it's not as bright it's toned down.

Edit 3: Major make over!!! And I love it!!!! <3 In the original sketch she doesn't have bangs, but just for fun I added them and I like her better with the bangs. Makes her look cuter. Her eyes are more oceany in color. Yes I said oceany. Take that! I wanted to give her a new look and still make her cute and sexy and this is what came of it.

Joslyn is spunky, loud and adventuresome, maybe a little too adventuresome. She loves to explore, but sometimes her expeditions lead her into trouble. Being chased, dropped, or bashed about. And through it all she stays true to her personality a happy-go-whacky person. It seems half the time the only way she sits still is during sleep or extreme measures. Joslyn's not the type to let technicalities stop her ans she's willing to go to the extreme for whatever. A little ditzy and completly crazy, Joslyn just may be what NeoGaea needs...or maybe not.
Despite her constant cheerfulness Joslyn hides a dark and lonly past. Her fond memories of her parents are only shadows. Well her parents are shadows and nameless people in her life, who died mysteriously. Maybe NeoGaea is what Joslyn needs. She seems to fit in quite well. Especially after she becomes a creature catagorer and is able to go to any domain or territory without too much danger and harm.
